Mineral plus-4

Shinsuke Koi Product 1

This time, we would like to raise the topic about field pond since we have inquiries about that.
When we visited to some Koi breeder, they mentioned that there is specific field pond where good quality
Koi continously have been bred every year.

I assume that those filed pond should be the one from which sufficient amount of minerals are supplied.
Let me put it this way translating into farming industry.
It has been said that lack of minerals (nutrients) come about in farming field recent years due to the farming by using chemical fertlizer.

Taking food chain into consideration, it should be adverse effect incur with us human being provided farm crops
would  not absorb / contain sufficient amount of minerals.
In my personal point of view, after the period of time when Koi are pulled out from
filed pond, leaves on hardwood trees begin to fall.

Falling leaves on the gound are to be decomposed by bacterias living in the soil.
Falling leaves in that state are categolized in organic substances as well as dead insects, animal excreta.
Incidentally, rock and stone are categolized in inorganic substances.

During the process in organic substances being decomposed, organic acid comes into existance.
Then, it follows to the process that organic acid decomposes inorganic substances like rock, stone.
In that particulat process, minerals are to be let out.

The plants such as vegetables are not able to absorb fertilizers directly.
Believe it or not, in fact, oraganic acid comes out during the process in fertlizers being decomposed by bacteria and then it let out the minerals from fertlizers so that root of plant absorbs those minerals.
In addition, so called root acid plays same role in that respect.

Getting back to the subject of field pond where good quality koi continously have been bred,
it seems that quite a few hardwood trees are around field pond, which means fallen leaves come with there every years.

The environment in those field pond would be suitable for bacteria to decompose fallen leaves in such way that it let out organic acid and then decompose rocks and stones which results in supplying water rich in minerals to those filed pond.

I assume that the sort of rocks and stones have a lot to do with the process of minerals being let out.
It is heavilly dependent on bacteria to cleansing water in the filed pond as there is no filtering system in there.

If there is too much organic substances than its torelant level, ecosystem would collapse and causing adverse effect in breeding koi.
What is really important is to put appropriate number of Kois to field pond, bearing its environment in mind.
